As promised, I am starting to scan and upload Minnie Riperton memorabilia from my personal archives. The first item is one of my most prized possessions. This is a copy of the order of service for Minnie Riperton’s memorial serviceĀ held in her hometown on Aug 3, 1979. Minnie’s mother, Mrs. Thelma Riperton, gave me this treasure when I visited her home on July 6, 1985.

OH
MY
GODNESS!
I have to say this is probably one of the best things i’ve seen. I mean, this is amazing. Minnie’s tragic death make this a VERY UNIQUE COLLECTOR’S ITEM!…
This brought me to tears. Thanks SO much for sharing this amazing piece of memorabilia.
Panxo.
PS: KEEP UPLOADING THINGS LIKE THIS EVERYDAY! IM OUT OF PICS…LOL
I’m happy you are pleased.
This has got to be one of the best finds as a Minnie Riperton Fan. Clearly this is a piece of the moment in time fans would enjoy. I will spread the word. RIP Minnie.
Just…wow.
I am a Minnie Riperton fan. I had no idea Maya Rudolph was her daughter! WHAT a voice Maya has on her! I loved Minnie Riperton, i was a teen and my mother used to play all her music on saturday mornings when it was time to clean. I would sit and day dream about one day being able to sing like her! LOL. Well i cant sing a lick, but hey a girl can dream! She blessed me soooo much at that time and even now when i hear her music it takes me back to happy and simpler times! This site is beautiful. Thank you for having it. It blessed me tremendously.
